Ineffective product
I was excited to automate my home, but this HomeMate switch turned out to be a serious safety risk. I installed it following the wiring diagram, and within less than 24 hours, the unit failed.Upon inspection, I found the plastic casing around the input terminals completely charred and melted (see attached photo). This could have easily started a fire inside my switchboard. I was well within the rated load, so there is clearly an issue with the build quality of the internal connectors or the thermal protection.Extremely disappointed. If you value your home’s safety, stay away from this and look for a more reliable, certified brand. Returning immediately.

Decent product
It’s a good purchase, if you are looking for some smart connectivity.Ease of installation : very easy to install, straightforward, only thing to figure out was how to connect the manual switch wire. But that too was easily figured out.Auto Timer On-Off – sometimes I feel the lights do not get switched off. Still experimenting it ( will comment later)Product reliability: of course electronics do not guarantee life, due to the fragility of the chips.Otherwise I feel the product worthy.

Make your old switch boards like a new automatic ones.
One of the good things you can purchase to make your old switch board like modern ones, automatic connected to wifi. Ordered it second time. Go for it. Easy to install (well I called electrician to do it as I ain’t a professional) and easy to operate. Switch Functionality is of greater use as you can even automate your lights. One of the pros of using this product. Plus Google assistant support. I hope the size could have been much smaller though as in tight spots it is easy to fit it then.

Not at all worthy
It sometimes go offline by itself and Trigger switches by itself. For first 2 weeks it works so well, then after we’ll face issues.
