My daughter’s laptop was struggling with some day-to-day tasks. When replacing an SSD that was dying, I noticed that there was only one stick of 8GB RAM. Given the laptop is capable of dual-channel, this meant that, not only was this a bit short on RAM, it wasn’t able to take full advantage of its speed.This memory is cheap. Really cheap. 16GB was more than affordable and would help my daughter’s laptop not only avoid frequent paging to virtual memory, but give faster access to RAM in the first place.The installation is trivial. Remove a few screws, pop off the back cover, pop out the old RAM, and place in the new. I was done in 10 minutes.The memory works flawlessly, and my daughter’s laptop runs much better, particularly with all the tabs she likes to keep open on her browser.

Pulled the Ram out of package and put it in the laptop and booted it up and we were good go no hassles at all. A great upgrade for your older laptops gives them a kick in the pants.
