I brought Oakter Mini UPS with this. And in my opinion this works well with my TP LINK AX10 Router and Modem. Worth buying. Her in my village frequent power cuts are normal, and Oakter Mini UPS and this DC 12V Y split cable is very compatible, Durability seems ok looking at the quality of the cable, i hope this will continue working for years to come, Very easy to use after watching a few YT videos for installation.

I own a mini UPS with a 12V, 3A max output, which was initially used to power my Airtel Xstream modem router (12V, 1.5A). Recently, I upgraded my network by adding a dedicated router to address signal and device limit issues. The new router has a rating of 12V, 1A.To power both devices simultaneously, I decided to try a splitter cable, and it worked flawlessly! Got for splitting two routers at once but ended on disaster due to seller !
Worst experience! First unit had at least one working DC output, but this replacement is completely dead—both outputs not working. Packaging looks used too. Literally, they sending products without proper checks. I believed strong on replacement unit will work so I didn’t captured that time but now. Only plus was fast delivery. Got it from “Clicktech Retail”—avoid them. Don’t try their other listings either, especially the one with 10-unit minimum. Better buy from other sellers (coz you have chances to receive unit from mine after return which don’t worked) or check local shops.

Perfect DIY
Bought this Y split to connect a small UPS to our WiFi router and a fiber->Ethernet converter that comes with ACT Internet. Both router and converter gets back up now. Not sure maximum time the battery can power them up but it definitely helps for frequent power outages for a short period of time. Useful for WFH
