Just go, GRAB IT!!!
Just go, grab it!! To know why, read on :)Towards the end of December, 2018, I was looking for some kit to initiate the science of Robotics to my 11 year old son. That is when I came across the Quad Store – Super Starter Kit for Arduino Uno R3 (Beginner’s Kit) on Amazon. Little did I realize at that time, that I would end up spending more time with the kit that my son. This kit is a small, neat treasure trove of fun and learning. Till before December, 2018, I had never heard of an Arduino Board. And now the scenario is such that most of my free time is literally spent tinkering with the Board, the software and rest of the stuff. The components included in the kit are of good quality and packaged very neatly (for the details of what is included, see the product images either on Amazon or Quad Store website). The fact that a lot of thought has gone into creating the kit is evident when one sees there is a small storage box provided within the kit and more importantly there is a tray and some detachable dividers provided for ease of storage. There are about 28 small projects that you can undertake with this kit, starting from the simplest like blinking a LED to the more complicated like creating a snake game. These act as a springboard to propel you towards undertaking complicated projects. The entire guide along with codes or the sketches as they are called can be downloaded from the Quad Store Website under the Downloads section. The guide too is wonderfully laid out, starting with the introduction to the various parts of the Arduino Board and familiarization with the Arduino Software, known as the Integrated Development Environment.Under each project, the components are broken down to give a rough understanding of how the components and the circuit work, followed by an explanation of the terminology used in the sketch. So in case you wish to explore the world of electronics and Arduino, this kit, in my opinion, is a great starting point!!The cons:1) Though the standard contents list of the Kit on both the Amazon and Quad Store website, does not include either a servo motor (this is free only if you are lucky) or a tilt switch, the downloaded guide has one project each related to the above mentioned components. So my request to the Quad Store friends would be to either include the same in the kit (since these are not very expensive components) or to remove the projects from the guide, lest it cause confusion in the minds of every new Arduino Fan, who buys this set.2) Also the LCD display does not come with the pins attached to it, though a separate 40 pin header has provided that has to be soldered on to the LCD, which was a difficult job for me. May be Quad Store could find some solution to it.Two pieces of advice to the Arduino Initiate:1) Don’t just load the sketches on to the IDE, available as a download for the projects. Download them, read them and then type them yourself in the IDE, if you wish to learn Arduino and IDE better. Just a suggestion.2) There are a number of wonderful books are available on the subject like the ones authored by Massimo Banzi (the Father of Arduino), Simon Monk and many more. These books are a wonderful companion to this lovely little kit for those who wish to delve deep into the subject.HAPPY ARDUINOING!!!PS: I also happened to be one of the lucky hundred buyers and therefore received both a WiFi and a Bluetooth 4.0 module free, which was pre-included in my kit.

Good quality products .. well packed ..
I just received my Quaduino UNO R3 Super Starter Kit, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive into learning more about Arduino projects! The kit arrived promptly with one-day delivery, which was great since I couldn’t wait to start exploring. The package includes a wide variety of components, and everything is organized and well-presented, which is especially helpful for beginners like me. It seems like an excellent kit for anyone looking to experiment with digital circuits and get hands-on experience with Arduino. While I haven’t yet checked each component in detail, the initial impression is very positive. I’m looking forward to trying out all the projects included in the guide. This kit feels like a great value for the price, and I’m hopeful everything will work as expected!

Good for begginers or someone looking for most products in a single buy
Wonderful kit, all the components are there except the vibration switch, and it must be there, I have not checked it properly….

Everything worked… except the main board
Bought this board thinking I’d get some quick projects going — blink an LED, spin a servo, maybe feel like Tony Stark for 10 minutes. Board arrived, looked fine, powered on, and gave me that hopeful little orange blink. So far so good. Then I tried uploading code. That’s where the dream ended.Plugged it in — nothing. Just COM1 staring back at me like, “What do you want me to do about it?” No new port, no recognition, nothing. I figured maybe it’s the driver. Installed the CH340 driver (successfully, it said). Still nothing.I tried everything:Two different PCsThree different USB cables (yes, data-capable)Restarted the systemPrayed a littleDouble-tapped reset like my life depended on itThe board kept blinking, pretending to be alive, but it just wouldn’t show up on my computer. Like a ghost with good intentions. Conclusion? It probably has a busted USB-to-Serial chip. If you’re lucky, yours might work fine. Mine clearly wanted early retirement.Honestly, for the price, I wasn’t expecting a miracle — but I was hoping it would at least show up to work. If you’re buying this, maybe keep a backup board or some patience nearby. You’ll need one of them.

Excellent product but limited exercises.
It is really good. Lots of accessories given. But the exercise are not clear and not many exercises are there. There is a lot of scope to learn but limited exercise given. Certain abbreviations are given full forms are not available in the exercise. You have to look it up on the net.
